My father-in-law is not all there in his head. We've been trying to get him to stop driving. He says he just uses the car to buy groceries and take his ex-wife (my mother-in-law) to her volunteer association where she works 3 or 4 days a week.
OK, I'm not making this shit up...
So today, he drops her off at the association and heads back to his apartment. Somehow he made a wrong turn somewhere and ended up in a city 30km away. He's completely disoriented and ends up running right into the back of a parked Brinks truck.
Well the Brinks guys aren't getting out, they immediately take off and call the cops. Could be some sort of staged holdup.
The cops come, he's unhurt, the car is a wreck. He may have to pay for whatever damage done to the truck, but those things are built like tanks on purpose.
Hopefully, now, he will STOP driving. Next time it might be a person.
