I dip my shmp also. First I use a dip net, then I prepare them, light boil, light broil, or on the grill. Then I dip them in REAL butter, Garlic butter or Red sauce, light Soy maybe, or whatever your fancy. I have fun catching them and always get a load and they are full hand size (4-5 lbs) or more per catch. It costs maybe $$20 or less. Add a nice steak, flounder, veggies.. I bag the rest of them up( raw without heads deveined) for the freezer only short term, repeat later...buying shrimp at these prices..........insanity!
