Biotech institutional investors will not touch Anavex. The reasons for this have been described many times. Given Missling’s unenviable track record and zero credibility, no investment committee would agree to make an investment. Other than index funds that must own AVXL because it is in the Russell Index, no shares are owned by managed biotech funds. Until Missling is gone, and unless and until the reported data are independently confirmed, that will continue to be the case.
By the way, all the speculation about a partner is nonsense. There will be no partner for the same reasons there are no institutional shareholders.
