"What the "free speech" part of that means is that the State cannot suppress or punish the expression of individuals' views. It doesn't mean a social media site can't establish and enforce terms of use that might exclude the posting of, say, dick pics. Among many other things. IHub has one. Twitter should have one. In the absence of an effective TOU means a chaotic site that eventually will no longer be worth following. Those of us who've been here for a long time saw that happen to the Yahoo financial sites, and to Raging Bull."
Not when social media and government collude with each other to prohibit speech. It is a "public square" and is afforded certain protections from liability, so thus any speech that is "lawful" should not be subject to prohibition. Period

"On a much larger scale, it's happening to Twitter. People will just move on; many are already doing so."
See you are so out of touch, you don't even realize that Twitter has had more people join and "rejoin", plus advertisers are returning. LOL
I just have to laugh at the shingles coming off the liberals house of cards. The lies and cover up are off the charts
The day of reconning is coming, are you ready for it?

Aren't people allowed the personal "freedom" to abandon a chat platform and migrate to another chat platform that is more to their liking?
How about I promote this notion that the world is flat on every Investors Hub stock forum. Post multiple messages pissing and moaning about the global conspiracy among global socialists who advocate teaching school children that the world is a sphere.
There is always a forum somewhere in which one can promote whacko ideas. That a privately owned and operated chat platform decides it no longer tolerates your whacko ideas and decides to bump you is not suppression. It is triage. You sacrifice the whacko so regular folks can continue with their civil discourses.
