not all of them but there does need to be a little more scrutiny, especially with the mega churches.
My ex was an Osteen fan because her bestie was. They actually paid 100 bucks a ticket to go see him once on a night when he came through here. I told her that if the man was really doing the lord's work then you shouldn't be charged a f'n dime.
She didn't get that but I didn't expect her to. If it made her feel better then I would feel better as well. LOL it didn't work out so well for me but I'm still scraping by.
I got the kids into a shelter with the help the social worker. She wouldn't tell me much more only to reassure me they and I were safe. The cat never appeared but there's a lot of outdoor cats around here so if it was left behind, I'm sure will be able to assimilate into society or get scooped up by someone who gives it shelter for the winter like I used to.
Thank you so much for your advice. I'm so used to meeting problems head on that I get over my skis sometimes trying to solve everything when it's really up to the professionals to get stuff done. I'm still locking my doors for the first time in 30 years.....just incase.
I won't say that I'll never get that feeling again from the pit of my heart but at least I'll know what to do next time.
