I agree Nuke, that as far as I know the courts are the only avenue. But that takes time IF you are even lucky to get the correct decision.

But this biotech field was/is Amarin's business. They should readily have been aware of what would happen to V scripts if they lost the patent trial. They should have taken the challenge to their patents more seriously. As Raf and others have pointed out, they should have been better prepared for Mori and Kobayashi (?) rather than having Bhatt have to come out with a paper months after the court decision. Of course selecting Nevada was as dumb as could be and more fully engaging in settlement negotiations should have been undertaken. And then of course not joining Marjac and North's effort was the cherry on the cake.

You might say all that is water under the bridge and we none of that helps now. I agree but we have to be realistic with what has happened and understand that what most of us would think that selling to BP at a very low valuation is a steal and cheating us, we are between a rock and a hard place with a high likelihood that Amarin cannot get itself out of this jam by itself. That is the reason for all the excitement of the Denner involvement.

how do we stop it? If our courts continue to look the other way?

Clearly we catch the courts' attention by faceplanting on a distraction of our own devising

our own laziness. the "work from home mentality" is killing our nation.

That oughtta do it. Work product doesn't count unless you park in traffic jams beforehand and afterwards.

My apologies as I'm now getting off on a tangent

The only thing you seem to get off on.

Think about this "Wokesters" as it applies to our current economic woes.
By working from home and not putting our hands on products we make or monitor, we become so detached from the work-a-day world our older generation and generations before had to do, that we lose sight of who we are.

You're work from home jobs can be done by overseas companies very easily if that's what you want. I personally, think it's a sign of future degradation of our willingness to get our hands dirty and learn by doing rather than pushing buttons on a keyboard. Sure, a lot of our daily tasks are done with a computer, but that's not the same thing.
As for where we're heading, I want no part of that. Get off yer duffs and get to work.
