Think about this "Wokesters" as it applies to our current economic woes.
By working from home and not putting our hands on products we make or monitor, we become so detached from the work-a-day world our older generation and generations before had to do, that we lose sight of who we are.

You're work from home jobs can be done by overseas companies very easily if that's what you want. I personally, think it's a sign of future degradation of our willingness to get our hands dirty and learn by doing rather than pushing buttons on a keyboard. Sure, a lot of our daily tasks are done with a computer, but that's not the same thing.
As for where we're heading, I want no part of that. Get off yer duffs and get to work.
