Interesting post...1st let me be more specific, I'm a huge fan of the new energy economy. In fact I've a lot of invested money on companies that thrive on the new energy economy, because the future of energy source and storage,

will not include oil or natural gas

. I have spent the last 12 plus months learning the process involved to make that transition so I can understand the path forward and the pitfalls that are present. My sole concern is how the transition is handled to avoid shortfalls in available energy while the transition occurs. Those whom are truly informed understand the folly in assuming that target dates and milestones are easily met; it's just no so. When the transition is complete, the USA will no longer be an energy super power status we've enjoyed during the fossil fule era. At best we will be a near second tier supplier.

So from my invested perspective the faster we dismantle the fossil fuel industry the better...I just understand the difficulty trying to convert from a fossil fuel world to the new energy world.
