These are not Denner's picks, plain and simple. Neither of them ever worked for or with Denner, ever.

One was an Irish biotech exec that worked for ONE company the past 25 years. She left and started a "consulting firm" a year ago.

The other worked for Wells Fargo the past 11 years, and has worked as a Wall Street analyst/investment banker the past 30 years. He left his job 2 months ago to start a "consulting firm".

BOTH of these people were employees of various companies up until a year ago.

You know who else left their job several years ago to start a "consulting firm"?? Karim Mikhail!!

If Denner were to put someone on the board (other than himself), I am willing to bet it would be someone who he knows well with experience at one of Denner's current or previous target companies...Medicines Co, Ironwood, Biogen, Gilead, etc. Either a board member or former or current executive. Someone that understands his vision and his M.O.

Zip….We don’t have a single word of evidence of good, bad regarding yesterday announcement of 2 new board members. So much hot air in less than 24 hours. It’s simple, no one here knows the significance of the change until we all find out together. How pragmatic

No one here knows for sure, you are right about that. What intrigues/worries me is whether these new appointments, if put there to fight off Denner, are able to raise support for current management from other investors in order to beat Denner in the special election.

Or on a more joyous note these appointments have the approval of Denner. I doubt it though without any evidence. Looking forward to hear from Denner one way or the other.

Caddie...The telling evidence in the PR, announcing the new board members, is not in what was said, but in what was not said...If these new board members were agreed upon by Denner and Olson, the two would have issued a joint PR announcing them....Instead, we will all hear about them at the Oct 27 Q3 C.C. from K.M., who will praise them, but had nothing to do with their selections and, who has been appointed by Olson to play the role of the fall guy.

And if Denner has to replace these newly hired Directors, they must have had a severance clause in their contract? I think it’s time for someone to take out Karim and Olson before any more damage is done.
