These are not Denner's picks, plain and simple. Neither of them ever worked for or with Denner, ever.

One was an Irish biotech exec that worked for ONE company the past 25 years. She left and started a "consulting firm" a year ago.

The other worked for Wells Fargo the past 11 years, and has worked as a Wall Street analyst/investment banker the past 30 years. He left his job 2 months ago to start a "consulting firm".

BOTH of these people were employees of various companies up until a year ago.

You know who else left their job several years ago to start a "consulting firm"?? Karim Mikhail!!

If Denner were to put someone on the board (other than himself), I am willing to bet it would be someone who he knows well with experience at one of Denner's current or previous target companies...Medicines Co, Ironwood, Biogen, Gilead, etc. Either a board member or former or current executive. Someone that understands his vision and his M.O.
