You’ve already gotten a few good replies on to your post. My two cents I think “personalized ” is a bit of a stretch. Perhaps they will have different versions of the mRNA vaccine depending on the patient

They will manufacture with some mix of up to 34 neoantigens that are selected by computer analysis of the genome.

By my count that is about 17,179,869,183 possible vaccines. More than the number of people on this planet.

That sounds personalized to me.

The issue with mRNA vaccine is that they’re reinventing the wheel but it’s costly, takes a lot of work, and then is still just a round thing.

DCVax does a plasmapheresis, makes DCs, makes a lysate from the tumor, puts the two together. Simple. Why go through a Rube Goldberg process to find a bunch of proteins, make an mRNA sequence for each, then shoot that into a patient and hope it finds DCs in your body, hope those DCs take up the mRNA and transcribe it into the same proteins you already have, present them on their surface, and hope T cells are recruited?

And why do all of this when you already have Keytruda showing that in combo with DCVax the two fight GBM better than either alone? Well, maybe when you try to bullshit a woman like LP into selling or partnering on the cheap?
