Amarin was doing DTC advertising before and I think slightly after (I could be wrong about after) the DuDisaster.

They stopped it as it did not make sense to build the business for the Generics.

why doesn't amarin advertise to the public about their miracle drug??? Is there any logical explanation?

(i) Everybody know that 50% of marketing cost is useless ... but nobody knows which 50%. In case of Amarin - due to generic market share - the useless part is 68-69%

Money or lack there of??

They are focusing on prescribers and targeted advertisement (based on cost / effectiveness / revenue generation analysis)

Or is amarin afraid of another short attack?

??? Not likely ... I do not see any relation between the two.
