LL already told you that ATL-DC can't be patented because it's ultimately derived from the persons own body. She says little NWBO comes along and makes a few process tweaks and that's what they try to patent. AF says that UCLA says the agreement between them and NWBO has expired years ago now. No mention of UCLA in the recent 10k that I could find.
Bottom line looks like any company can now come along and license ATL-DC from UCLA making their own tweaks for whatever indication they're going after.
Question becomes is it simpler for a BP or whoever to go through Advent or make their own version? IF there's anything to ATL-DC's than Advent will reap the rewards. We'll see what portion of that goes to NWBO.
