Vader....I think Fullmoon's recent post quotes Symantec with the answer

http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=16843725

...."businesses don't want an operating systems company to be the one
that secures them from a wide range of risks, he said to applause. "It's a
huge conflict of interest."

Vader...Ive never been an advocate of a Wave buyout & doubt it happens, just IMO, but I sometimes wonder about some other gorilla besides MSFT. I.E., Cisco has stated they want to expand into the security arena, are making acquisitions, have 7 billion OS. Why couldnt they just issue 200 million more shares & buy us w/o even using cash? Might be a win-win.

Of course, I dont have tech-political savvy. There are probably tons of reasons this cant happen either

Simple economics, perhaps?

If MSFT felt compelled to shell out anything for Wavx, it would first need to see the market demand their services, vis-a-vis revenues, sales, etc.... Just because you're "compatible" with many systems doesn't carry water with the big boys.

IT DON'T MEAN A THING IF IT AIN'T GOT THAT SWING
