RedShoulder - Maybe you can ask plexrec to send another personal email to Mighty Kurz inviting him onto this AVXL iHub Message Board to share his info/thoughts with all of us? I mentioned this earlier this morning but I'm thinking plexrec might have me on iggy since he's not too keen on the "traders" here...hehe

I post over on that ST board, and every now and again get a gem, like from the Australian 'Mighty Kurtz' (sp) with his personal account of the AD trial patients not only experiencing the stop in the disease progression, but returning to normal. He personally knows the man running the trial there, went to school with him. He was very excited about it, and says the drug is the real deal.

"I think it's fair to say that we were not expecting such strong cognitive signals to emerge from a small n study that was not designed to capture statistical significance within the resultant cognitive dataset. To me it is very significant that all those who completed Part A elected to enrol in the 26 week extension, and as the first few patients began to return to the study sites for Part B visits we received the message from patients and carers that they wanted to continue on the study drug for longer, which prompted me to approach the sponsor to extend the study for a further 26 weeks.

Although dated from 11/15/2015, it still stands out as a great testimonial from one of the most respected doctors in the neurological science field.

RedShoulder, yes, I agree. There are some really nice posts over there. Good to hear about the background on "Mighty Kurtz". The info that he afforded is very valuable and encouraging.
