When they "reunify" with Taiwan, they will instantly put a blockade on all semiconductors that the world needs, and the US absolutely must have.

Is this your prediction or is there some evidence that this is their intention? I don't believe it would be in China's economic self-interest to shut down semiconductor trade world-wide. It would definitely spur the West to invest in home-grown semi manufacturing to avoid the pilfering of chip designs and trade secrets by the CCP.

I believe the more fabs/foundries we build here in the U.S. could make a move by China against Taiwan more likely. The less we depend on Taiwan the less we would be willing to defend/sanction.
