You would. And it goes back more than 20 years. We originally got involved in the late '80s, through our support of the Mujahideen in Afghanistan. They were fighting the Soviets, who by then had been stuck in the country for years. People called it the Soviet Union's Vietnam: they couldn't win, and they felt they couldn't just leave.

And so we helped drive them away. Most of the Mujahideen eventually became Taliban.
