Agreed man. Hf's like blackstone have also been buying up real estate all over by outbidding retail homebuyers. Just like you said, they dont want americans to own homes but force them to rent instead. Crazy times for sure!
Free Market Capitalism promotes private ownership and in 2008 this buying was fierce. Unless the big buyers work for our collective health and wellbeing our government will have to regulate them put of business, imo.
