#24398 RE: santafe2 #24397

I hope it is OK to continue the conversation here. Yes, PG&E. I have not made an agreement for time of use. They may have imposed that on me. The 60 day bill says "Rate Schedule: E1 X Residential Service." I do have a pump for domestic water, a pool and A/C. It is interesting to look at the bill in detail. I am in Tier 2 Usage. I have never stayed within the first tier and have exceeded the second tier many times. This bill shows charges over $635.00 but gives a Generation credit (substantial), then adds a "Power Charge Indifference Adjustment"(huh? and moderate) and finally adds a small fee. Bottom line divided by the kwh usage comes up with $0.2258/kwh. So, I'll assume if I was charging a car, I'd be bumped into the third tier which may be >$0.40 which would be modified by the above adjustments. Thanks for your interest.
