Nonetheless though, managing a fund is not the same as being the owner. Yes, when you manage a find you have decision making power, and it’s the reason for that disclosure because it is like a second hand in terms of one wanting to watch such an investors investment activity in one company. But merely being a director or manager is not the same as saying she is doing this just to personally benefit.
I do not know who all has a stake in that particular fund. And even if she has a stake, ad I said, private equity funds set up ancillary ventures that have synergies all the time. I think the Advent relationship benefits shareholders and as a shareholder I personally approve of the innovative approaches. Likewise, I am not bothered by the previous relationship, though I was glad to see their adoption of rules relating to such related party entities and persons that are intended to protect investors, such rules having been unstated and likely discussed with the SEC in previous circumstances where certain persons were making allegations.
I do not see a problem here. I think any other efforts will likely result in easy, undistracted and easy revenues for NWBO without changing the companies focus or core direction. And for advent, it reduces the cost of personnel and that also would benefit all clients, including NWBO. Achieving scale in the manufacturing space ASAP I think will facilitate easier expansion ultimately for NWBO.
I’m not seeing the negative side of this relationship with NWBO at all, at least as it appears at this time.
