Not really bothering me. They seem to have been willing to put up a lot of the front capital and retain a lot of the risk, and again, “they” meaning the fund investors, which is not necessarily the managing director of any fund. The reason one creates a fund is not necessarily to deploy personal assets, but to efficiently group cash assets together from a number of people to facilitate easier investing.
