Arm is a chip design company that licenses its IP to chipmakers. It's inside like 90% of smartphones plus a lot more. It's in the process of being acquired by Nvidia (for $40B) if regulators approve the deal. Seems weird that they would be in acquisition mode themselves.
They're currently owned by Softbank, which is an acquisition company. Now THAT would be interesting.
