Fish while share buy backs are certainly attractive from a purely PPS view if one is looking to sell their stock. Reinvestment will likely take priority in the next year or two as it will take this pending excess revenue to continue developing the fields and thus bring in ever increasing revenues. As cash flow turns positive the report numbers will bring in the longer term investors that are fund based and this will raise the PPS just like buybacks would. If a good deal on another rig presents itself then this form of reinvestment is attractive as it can be used in house as well as jobbed out. Long term dividends are where my hopes lay as it both produces capital with which to reinvest while at the same time protects share ownership. So given only those 4 choices I would vote for reinvestment into the company and this would be the rig. Though you can bet the excess revs will be placed into lease development followed by dividends/share buybacks.

Fish..I vote for buy back of shares. I think getting a reliable crew for a new rig would be difficult. Lets get the Challenger running with the Ideco and we'll have all we can stand. Lease swapping will be going on forever. A lease AMEP likes may not suit someone elses drilling and vice versa.

I would use the money for OPERATIONS - which would include all expenses incurred during the day to day operations and maintenance of the rigs, wells, crew and all future new drilling projects.

Since the only operations-oriented category you mentioned was a new rig, I'll have to choose that, but I would not limit that to just a rig - but to earmark the cash for all drilling operations.

If we use the new cash flow for buybacks, divvies and leases, we won't have the free cash flow to GIT HER DONE.

I want to see the existing leases drilled as quickly and profitably as possible. When we're a five buck company, yeah sure, why not?

None of the above

5) CB has shown he has a good business nose and is great at shooting from the hip (7000+ B Shale acres; drill rig in a Mexican warehouse; Seismic work during Katrina). Let CB use his nose to decide what to do - although a small stock buyback as well would do wonders for the stock price.

This company is blessed with a hard-working CEO with a head on his shoulders. Leave him alone!

Extra funds? I would like a dividend (one time?). Then any naked shorts would have to pay up or buy back.

I'll vote for 1. Additional leases will expand the company's base and keep the money flowing in.

We don't need another rig.

The increased share price will be the dividend so, no dividend.

Use the money to drill what they have is what they will do.

Buying new leases is in their minds for sure.

I doubt that they have any intention of buying back any shares now or ever, especially at 5 bucks.

FFB, why not all 4 scenarios simultaneously? I take it only a few really know what will happen once the company is cash flow positive in the near future. The company is already eye balling some leases south of Mineral Wells. Devons in that area. The company has already picked up a couple smaller work over rigs, 1 must be for back up, unless another Challenger is in the workings. PRI is expanding leases in Medina county.

Tough question you ask, Damned if I know...
