Jerry - Who knows for sure what's happening behind the scenes, but for this company struggling to survive, I doubt moral reasons are a big driver of their decisions and timing.

I think she got the real good data; OS 5+ yrs is no big deal. And she got enough money to take it to the finish line; and she wants to give the death blow, one final one, to those wolf packs; and all she is doing is I think timing it, to send them to the land of never return, imo. JC, have you any idea in how many different ways that death blow could come like JV, B/O? TIA.

I’d guess they need to present a logic argument versus a check the box on their report. That will take more consensus time.

Manufacturing, manufacturing, manufacturing. Getting the Flaskworks process in place for the BLA is the most obvious reason for delay with timing details being worked out potentially with Merck being another. The journal article is a legit cover and the timing with that is still within reason as those in the know on this board can attest. I have no doubt that the fastest route to the most patients being served to meet expected demand is being pursued feverishly but at a pace mostly dictated by circumstances outside of the control of NWBO. Since Cognate made a move to double manufacturing capacity, then Charles Rivers Labs bought them and them suggested more space will be built out then maybe expected demand has moved to a new level that needs to be dealt with. Maybe good news is being turned into bad again? Best wishes.

Your statement Campbell assumes that if they just simply released top line ASAP without a journal article that DCVAX approval would be immediate, unquestionable and without doubt. It is unfortunate for patients that Linda feels she needs to move cautiously because of those that continue to attack her and NWBO.

I agree with you that it is such a morally questionable situation taking actions that slow deployment of what appears to be a revolutionary treatment that is highly effective, 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 are effectively cured (long tail).

I agree, this goes back to several statements that DI and/or LG have made including:

“Working hard to get us across the FINISH LINE”
And
“We are doing what is best for EVERYONE”
And
More generally DI’s discussion about why he joined the company (losing people he knew to GBM)

Although my past experience with NWBO tells me we are just waiting on publication, my heart tells me we could be getting a very big surprise (BLA or Buyout).

Hopefully this time will be different ;)
