@Anders - Can you explain the 75 Billion valuation? I agree with what you said but I would genuinely like to understand how this all works. Doing some basic math, I came up with a two scenarios and laid out potential valuations:

Scenario #1: Total Outstanding Shares (4/16): 844,730,236
-Market Cap: 1,131,828,880
-Price: $1.34

Scenario #1 Share Price @ Specified Valuation:
-50 Billion: $59.19
-40 Billion: $47.34
-25 Billion: $29.59
-10 Billion: $11.84

Scenario #2: Total Authorized Shares (4/16): 1,200,000,000
-Market Cap: 1,131,828,880
-Share Price: $0.94

Scenario #2: Share Price @ Specified Valuation:
-50 Billion: $41.52
-40 Billion: $33.22
-25 Billion: $20.76
-10 Billion: $8.31

In this scenario #2, $50/share would need a valuation of 60 billion.

Thoughts anyone?

Anders, I don't know if the 25 to 50 referred to by Marzan was intended to be the share price offered, or the billions in market cap. I do believe that $25 to $50 billion is possible in a buyout, especially if further testing brings proof that the vaccine works in many cancers, not just GBM.

When we speak about buyouts, partnerships, etc. and mention billions, it really ought to be what is being paid in billions, not the price per share. Given the proxy isn't requesting additional shares be authorized, I would suspect that we'll be looking at another vote later in the year if the company is to partner, be bought out, or continue operating to resolve the unconverted warrants if they'd exceed the authorized shares and provide for continuing operations.

If before the General Meeting the TLD is revealed, I'm not certain the company couldn't ask for an additional vote on raising the authorized shares, and perhaps even delay the meeting. It's clear the company is playing their cards close to the vest and things will happen in their time, not before. Their actions, or inaction, may be holding the stock down now, but long term may have tremendous benefits, time will tell.

Well why not (or close to it)? If what we are going for is control of a potential treatment (maybe even cure for some) not just for GBM but all solid tumors, what does Merck have now that even comes close to that potential? Why wouldn't the potential value of NWBO be even GREATER than that of Merck?? Of course they REALLY have to believe that NWBO HAS THE GOODS and it is not just a pipe dream.
