Well. They saw CVT. Portal vein thrombosis and pes dvts mostly through immune mediated thrombocytopenia. Similar mechanism to heparin induced thrombocytopenia. Should be looked into and followed but not announced over 6-7 people over millions that have received it. We probably ruined our chances at vaccinating the hesitant folks over an incidental finding or real yet extremely rare finding.

IIRC those 6 people had CVTs - numbers for PVTs (or DVTs?) was 22 for JNJ, can't find the link right now - and appears there's a link between the vaccine an "the pill", as it occurs mostly in women aged 25-40. Still, the risk is about as low as your chance of getting hit by lightning. I'd refuse that one just because it's much inferior to mRNA vaccines, JNJ's trials had a much lower bar set for the PE, and despite the lower bar were still 20% behind PFE and MRNA in efficacy.
