WHY would JPM/FDIC, have ANY say or control over Holding Company property?

What is the reason the hedgies are not eager for their money, is what I would like to know.

I fully agree. A battle tested firm that knows the real world legal leverage available within my lifetime...say 20 years from now, would be good timing for my adult children.

I believe that a strategy focusing on fundamentals of current established law, such as breach of contract and material misrepresentation, will finding standing.
