Lemmiwinks, Why would you take Vascepa on an empty stomach? You are supposed to take after or while eating ideally with some fat which helps to absorb the EPA into your bloodstream. By taking on an empty stomach you are not getting the full benefit of the medication.
I notice some reflux if I swallow two together after a meal and the reason for my question. I never have issues if I take them one at a time on an empty stomach. It might take you a few days to get use to them. I have taken V since it first came to market and from time to time, experience slight fish burps. It seems to be isolated to the batch. You may not notice it on your next bottle.
