That’s certainly a possible outcome. The lawyers don’t care as long as they get paid and who knows how much they’re expecting? I think the settlement or award might be bigger if the court hints or determines the infringement was intentional. Then I think they might have to pay triple damages? But even that is only 3 cents so maybe we’re all just wishful thinking?
Another possible scenario is that an HDC win triggers other companies to settle or license? That could boost share price further unless management awards itself more free shares and bonuses.
You have suffered just like all of us so they might be showing the same damn movie over and over again, they don't sell popcorn or cokes so screw it bring your own goodies as you paid for the damn seat so at least enjoy your pop corn and drink...who knows if the old 16 frame film is going to burn and snap maybe a different movie might play! My a$$ is staying here til the end period, you are not alone.
I think we'll be trading much higher than 40 cents if we win a 500 mil settlement. The speculation of other .5 bil infringers should drive this to a new high.
