#182358 RE: 1manband #182346

I thought about making a list of all no information stocks, after the SEC suspended 2 non-SEC filers (PDPR and ABVG) on Friday, and labeling the stocks on my list as:

a) dead
b) actively being pump
c) dead and actively being pumped
d) active but not providing public information besides press releases/social media post

But I quickly realized that it would take hours and hours to complete

To give you an idea of the scope of work:

The OTC Markets stock screener lists 10,503 pink sheet stocks, as of today (after today's mass suspension).

https://www.otcmarkets.com/research/stock-screener

7565 of them are pink current
143 of them are pink limited info

That leaves 2795 pink no information stocks at risk of an SEC suspension.

Add to that 704 expert market stocks (which are also not providing adequate information while many of them get pumped on social media), and that makes 3499 Issuers at risk of an SEC suspension.

Around 10% those 3499 issuers are also delinquent filers (around 350)

235 - 240 of those delinquent filers, I listed in the post you replied to:

So, as you can imagine, making a list of those 3499 no information stocks to group (dead, social media pumps, etc.) would be a massive project.

I feel like the SEC is tackling these no information stocks on three fronts:

1) the delinquent filer angle
2) the social media pump angle
3) the dead shell angle

In any case, the SEC would probably be well-served by using the market screener linked above if they are looking for a general list as a starting point.

3499 stocks not providing adequate public information is a scary and disturbing number of stocks that serve no real purpose except as vehicles for stock manipulation.

The SEC definitely has their work cut out for them. Hopefully, they are up for the task.

So far, they are off to a good start with the 53 suspensions over the past week:

SCIE, HYII, UNGS, PDPR, ABVG, AAXT, ADTC, ARHI, ARBI, BTAM, BRTE, CCHZ, CUBG, ENGY, CGDI, CCAQ, CRRSQ, DLII, EENR, EENC, ENZH, GLWA, GSVI, HERC, HBTC, HAHI, IFCI, NEMD, IYXI, JRIV, LGTS, MGLO, MTPR, MLPH, NWUC, OLFC, OSCN, ONLI, PNLT, SKAJ, SPDE, SPXP, STCO, TSNI, TNGNQ, TPIL, ROKR, USAM, VCLD, WPEC, WGIH, WHLX, XCRP.

And, as I said earlier today, I have a feeling this isn't the last mass suspension order we will be seeing.

I also think we'll see a few more high-profile suspensions in the near future.
