If I were developing anything cyber/crypto and looking to go public but prefer a lower profile and a longer path, this name fits the billI for a reverse merger with a somewhat functional OTC abandoned ticker that perhaps someone will clean up (make it current, transfer agent verified) and get started as pink.
One has to wonder there may be hundreds of cases like this out there.
There are several possible reasons for the phoenix-like life of CKYS. I am going with the list in Occam's razor order.
1) It was so cheap that a group of gamblers found the stock and decided to buy it to establish momentum.
2) Now add a story planted (excuse the pun) on social media and this takes on a life of its own to the benefit of the gamblers who may not know enough to realize that they have created a pump and dump.
3) Someone really is doing a slow motion pump and dump. If they are, my hat is off to them. They have been very disciplined and subtle
4) Someone is taking control and going to clean this up to get a cheap shell.
5) Shorts had to cover for some reason after nearly a decade. They accidentally created a buying surge.
