Let me tell you the one who went through 2 crashes.

I watched dotcom bubble and i was 22 at that time.just completed masters. i was listening to the news and friends but i do not even have broker account.
2008 crisis.I started active trading in 2007 and actively involved in markets but very bad in trading and analyzing big picture.

When markets making new highs its always in news and everyone jumps in the bandwagon. when the tide goes away lot of people lose money and stay away from markets for considerable time.

Markets are always like old suckers making money on new suckers. this is exactly where the market is now. this too will pass.
