The best surf and turf I ever had was in a restaurant in Las Cruses New Mexico near a landmark claiming something like Jesse James was there, if I remember.

On the same trip I was taken to the Cattlemen’s steak restaurant near El Paso for their huge steak, which I had no problem consuming:-) I was 60lbs lighter then.

We used to have a steakhouse in Northeast Ohio called Bear Creek. If you wore a tie they would cut it off and hang it from the ceiling. That was when people often dressed up for dinner. So, wear a cheap tie, if you must. Can't remember if the steaks were any good, but the atmosphere was unique.

This was back in the 1970's
