It's been many years, but some of the best steaks I've ever had were in places I'd never be able to find again. One was Kobe beef in Tokyo, Bbut the really unexpected one was at a restaurant a friend took me to on the road from Tijuana to Rosarita Beach. I'll not put down the other steak houses, but these were the most memorable, and delicious.

There is a place that all should experience some day, and while it's been over 50 years, I've been told it still exists, it's on the slews in the Sacramento River Delta, it's called Al the Wop's. Dollar bills hang from the ceiling, great drinks cheap, good steaks, hard to describe.
