I think they assumed you were a basher and they were trying to smooth it out. I see what you're saying though and you are right that's why we always see that kind of crap whenever a product is successful.
Makes you wonder if tobacco unaltered is "bad for you"? Or is it just the added chemicals? Also have there ever been any studies on altered tobacco cigs that can prove cancer risk is just as great even when all the "pollution" is removed from the air? Are my chances of getting cancer just as high if I smoke occasionally but only breath clean unpolluted air in between.
It depends on what type of investor you are though I guess, so don't even look twice at studies like that because they know, then there are others that know its crap but still use it as a tool to make money on dips and flips in the market. There really is no wrong way here to make money.
