I don't think they can approve you before you show the ability to monitor. You don't hire unless you believe it's worth the money, and you don't take that new job unless you believe it, too. I don't know if winks or nods are involved but I am sure nothing official has happened yet on approval.

There's been no "nod" from a regulator. The first Rett results aren't even ready yet. After they're done, they'll be released and they'll arrange a meeting with regulators. This is always the drill. There will be no Rose Garden announcements either.

You start the process that might take months to fill with the right person. So therefore it may mean nothing more than anticipated approval...which is not the same as actual approval.

Agree w/this read and insight. The exact decision making sequence gets a little tricky here. Wait for a detail technical process to grind through while simultaneously /select/add key staff into a new position. Do this, while all the time nothing is yet final. Lots of moving parts but we must take risks at this point to achieve exit velocity.
Not the kinds of decisions or process steps you take if the technical outcome is at all gray or uncertain.

It seems like a pretty big amount to be committed unless there is an approval, or a very strong indication of approval. we shall find out soon.
