One of the largest if not the largest shallow water GOM drillers reached record production of 40,000 barrels of oil equivalent earlier this year before curtailing production when prices and demand collapsed.

The following is a statement of their intentions after emerging from recent bankruptcy, which can be found in the link above last paragraph :

The company said it will restart its drilling program in the fourth quarter with plans to equal those production highs.”

Drilling Rigs in the Louisiana GOM Offshore Federal waters did not change from the week earlier and that is where Gulfslope’s leases have been and are still concentrated. It all depends on what week the calculations were created, it’s still under 39%.

The next ‘DNR-La” Louisiana Department of Natural Resources Weekly Rig Report will come out tomorrow. I did link the current 10/23/2020 report in my previous post, but I accidentally used my previous weeks calculations, MVN. The bottom line and point is it’s not “Zero” Drilling Rigs in the GOM!

Anyone that has been on this board for a while is aware of my level of research and contributions, even the current nay-sayers with their previous thank you post to me on my level of Gulfslope contributions.

No worries,
