I don't know where you get your research but as of today there are 13 rigs in the GOM which represents a 38.1% decline from a year ago, not 30%.

Where did this data come from. How many production platforms have been "geared" down?

Inaccurate information is not helpful....and it impeaches one's credibility! Just trying to provide some mentoring
