There are and will be different strains/mutations, like every other virus out there. I think innovation and modern medicine will help us with this side of mother nature like it has in the past.
Im a very healthy guy normally. Maybe sick once or twice a year. I got knocked right into the dirt in late February. Not sure corona or not, but this has been a different spring for me for sure. Runny nose and sore throat type stuff. Once even nausea. But, maybe because I have a 1 yr old who is a germ magnet.
