You don't think that the mega Gorillas of TCG have the capacity to "jump" in and give WAVE some fierce competition? I do.
Why haven't they? Why did IBM sit on their hands for 3 years and not bother to offer attestation to the 3 million plus ThinkPads?
Do you think that S. Sprague is engaged in hyperbole when he claims WAVE "owns the space" (?). I think it is only slight hyperbole. I think the mega gorillas have conceded the vaulted space, including the OS, to WAVE. Without this concession, TCG could never get off the ground! WAVE is providing the basic building block to the TCG with Embassy because it will provide the defacto platform on which the TCG edifice can be built. Without a consensus on "space" ownership, TCG remains a fantasy; and Trusted Web Services a mere phantom.
