Barge

Of course any one of the gorillas in theory could give fierce competition and still may.I do not believe there was any agreement among all of them to give wave anything. It so happens that whatever wave is doing was not well understood by all of the parties as trusted computing evolved. And while they likely could have created their own solutions to move forward over time with much money, effort, mistakes etc., Wave was fortunately there when they were needed and is clearly the path of least reseistance and certainty. And lets hope it remains that way.

I find that we often exagerate the capabilites of these large companies. They are surely large enough to destroy a smaller company but size doesn't translate into the delivery of new stuff quickly. You'd have to work in a big place to appreciate how messed up they are and how difficult it is to deliver anything new that works on time.

If nothing else, the continued deferrals of timelineswithin this space speaks to where things really are after all of this focus.

Barge: SKS claiming that WAVE "owns the space"...

is akin to President Luis Angel Gonzalez Macchi, President of Paraguay, announcing that he "owns" South America.
