CBB,
You remember Sanatayana's aphorism "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it". JT has trouble remembering. But even assuming he eventually does, Otto von Bismark reminds us: “Only a fool learns from his own mistakes. The wise man learns from the mistakes of others.” Why kind of Fool do you think JT and the BoD have been? JT has a clear path to success and his current silence, and past blustering better add up to some new and coherent, brilliant startegy that defies even the Gods to see. We were cheated by the dichotomy between legal obviousness and scientific proof, between what seems obvious to try, and what is undeniable scientific proof. After all, I dare say that even Stone Age man thought about the wheel of an evening after Bison hunting...BUT it took a while thereafter to achieve it. The day when Scientific Proof is exchanged for the obviously incorrect (but entirely convenient) hair spillting of a court, is a sad day in Hell, that none of us should tolerate easily. Even if this Amicus fails miserably, I support it, because the Truth must out, and should never languish for the lethargy or laissez faire of those who know better. Let us Speak Truth to Lies, Clarity to Chaos, and Reason to Ignorance. Even if it fails, even it is for the last, perhaps futile time.
