Jasbg...as far as I know when companies hire an investment banker they make the announcement straight away...as it is obviously positive for stock...it may also be important enough that they are required....that I do not know for sure.
What's really impressive is all of you (me included :), shareholders of Amarin!! We stick around and fight. That Amicus brief is a good evidence. It shows to any party who has any bit of interest in Amarin that there is still value in it and there are this group of tough shareholders and investors who are willing to fight for it. I think that's worth something!
Just hope the management is fighting as hard as we're and in our synergy.
