When we hit I am going to open a pantry to feed the people who needs the help. I volunteered at 1 a few weeks ago and it left me with a hole in my heart

McDon, I got that looks from my wife since the last 3 years. Trust me, my kids, my friends and my wife thought I am crazy.

But now I realize I could not blame them. Because haven’t I done the DD, I would have been like them.

So I thank God and my longs friends here. I also thank my shorts friends here. Without scotty and friends, I could not add while it was on sale.

My partner and I started a food pantry in response to Covid and focused specifically on restaurant industry folk in DC. We purchase from local farmers who normally sell to restaurants, and have kept at least one farm in business while helping to feed 500 people a week with healthy, nutritious food. We've been running that for the past 5 months and it has been rewarding for us and our volunteers, who were all laid-off.
