My thoughts exactly. The company showed 4 quarters of $100m profit on average by selling $400m a quarter of carbon credits to the other big automakers who combined are planning to invest $255 billion in EV by 2022.
Tesla makes money selling credits right now, not cars. They’re sales volume will need to be 10X in 2 years if they are to sustain when the other automakers no longer need to buy carbon credits. Not likely and smart money knows this as well.
