This nonsense with the law clerk and the Court Administrator needs to be put to rest, as it is devoid of merit. Look, I am open minded towards almost any conspiracy theory, especially in connection with the DUsaster of 3/30.

Indeed, as I have candidly stated on multiple occasions, the Judicial Misconduct Conduct was the first of many steps that will unfold over the upcoming months in terms of holding ALL those responsible for 3/30 accountable.

Having said that, the law clerk and Court Administrator bear no responsibility whatsoever. The Court Administrator is probably not even a lawyer, and is tasked with administering the courtroom and chambers.

The law clerk is a first-year lawyer straight out of law school, who just passed the bar, and is likely academically bright to have landed a federal clerkship. This is a one-year gig, before she moves on to her first job, to be replaced by another rookie with similar pedigree.

The law clerk writes summaries of the parties' positions to assist the Judge in writing her position, but the Opinion and analytical process is exclusively that of the Judge, especially here where she presided over the entire trial as well as extensive pretrial proceedings.

Without very specific hard evidence, to even suggest that the law clerk or Court Administrator had some form of undue influence in this particular instance, is a bridge too far. In order to think outside the box and pursue potential conspiracy theories, there needs to be at least a scintilla of evidence, which does not exist with regard to this particular theory.

Lastly, lizzy, this is not direct towards you in the least, as I hold you in the highest regard, especially for your ignition of the Judicial Misconduct Complaint by alerting us to the article which started it all. Rather this is directed towards the faulty concept, as some of the brightest minds on this Board should not be venturing down a rabbit hole to nowhere.
