Same regarding Duffy and Merck, although certainty is not objectively reasonable. I doubt Roche is involved, but what do I know?

Well I’m open minded and never surprised by the lack of corporate governance in some public organisations but I’ve previously worked in senior mgt of a public company and I just cannot square away that Linda would slip up on not having any key critical IP / inside info sown up with a belt and braces confidentiality agreement that would leave both Duffy and Merck on the receiving end of criminal charges having acted on inside information for a financial advantage.....it just won’t happen as it’s a criminal offence and likely to end up with senior Mgt at Merck in very real hot water ...or indeed that it can happen especially when you understand that Linda and Les are corporate lawyers who trust nobody and have the battle scars to prove it.

I think Duffy either learned nothing of any real insider info or he is bound by a fairly robust confidentiality agreement. No way Merck will be allowed in to look up Linda’s metaphorical skirt without slipping a ring on her finger and that won’t happen before the blessing of shareholders in a vote and that won’t happen until they have data locked and published TLD.....

Your opinions on Merck / Roche may prove correct but I disagree that Duffy will form part of Merck’s decision making process.
