Chiugray, although I had one course on statistics about 49 years ago and since then I haven't dealt with it, I believe your probability of succeeding at least one of your investments is 97.3%.

P(at least one succeeds) = 1 - P(all fail)

Based on your wildly optimistic assumptions, that would be

1 - (.3 * .3 * .3) = .973 or 97.3%

If you prefer a sports analogy, it's the same math as a 70% free throw shooter with 3 attempts.
