When you say the curve frame has an injection molding problem, I guess you mean the curved sides of the iPhone 11 wouldn't form well with Liquidmetal? So that's why the iPhone 12 would have straight sides? If so, I understand that. But what is the Jony Ive connection?

Are you suggesting he didn't like the straight-side solution?

Two pieces of curve frame “fuse” together create yet another unsolvable problem according to LQMT.

Yes.....straight edge frame will become perfect solution in all front. (Including Jony Ive departure)
