Nope. Acc. to Amarin - see ITC Complaint - Vascepa is a fish oil … no question: is not the same as COMMON fish oil. Fish oil covers more than one type …. (e.g. Lovaza is a fish oil also).

You do realize that 'these kind of comment's undermines marjac's Complaint !

To many here' it is deeply condescending to call an advanced 'highly developed product like Vascepa 'Fish Oil' - which I'm sure you are well aware of !

HDG, your posts are normally brilliant.

Vascepa is not fish oil. If a CV patient needs V but is prescribed fish oil, that prescribing doctor is committing malpractice.

Layman's terms are one thing, terms of art another. You are equivocating on this one. Please stop.

HDG...QUOTE " no question: is not the same as COMMON fish oil."

Agreed...But Judge Du regarded Vascepa as such during the trial....as shown by her actions in the trial...and she talked to the press about..."being tutored on "fish oil"...during the month after the trial had just ended...i.e...while the case was on appeal...She knew or should have known that "fish oil" had been used for many years as a pejorative for Vascepa.
